Each day is a blessing

Each day is a blessing from God. Time flies and before we know it, it is already time to leave this world or we are so old and helpless needing others assistance.
The older we get, the more we realize how short our lives are.
Each day is an opportunity we have, to do good deeds and to repent to God for any sins we may have committed. It is a fact that we all would die one day.
If we are wise, we would treat each day as our last and make the most of it, to do the rightful things. -mohlat-

Executives are hard to see....

Their costly time I may not waste
I make appointments nervously
And talk to them in haste.

But any time of night or day
In places suitable or odd
I see and get without delay
An interview with God.

A Woman Within

It is so easy to feel both small and insignificant, having no purpose in the overall scheme of things. And yet in God's eyes there are no mistakes and no nonentities. Each life is given at just the right time to do and to be something special and irreplaceable. For you and I are lovingly shaped to be the building blocks from which history is created.

Nourish Your Soul!

Do you ever feel like life is just a vicious cycle and you are struggling from day to day to keep up?  Every time you turn around, laundry, dishes, housecleaning, and taking kids to their sporting events are staring you in the face.  It seems like in this day and age people are more stressed out than ever before. Why is that?  Is it possible to change that? Well, I don’t claim to have all of the answers, but I do think that technology has certainly changed things.  We are always available via cell phone, Facebook, or other social media on the Internet.  While these are all very useful tools, I do believe we get in the mode where we feel life can’t go on if we pull ourselves away from them for a little while. There also seems to be competition among young parents today to “keep up with the Joneses”, so to speak.  Since they have their kids in 5 different sports or activities, then so should we.And last, but definitely not least, is the daunting task of earning a living to keep food o…

Bob Parsons 16 Rules for Success in Business and in Life!

1. Get and stay out of your comfort zone. I believe that not much happens of any significance when we're in our comfort zone.  I hear people say, "But I'm concerned about security."  My response to that is simple: "Security is for cadavers." 2. Never give up. Almost nothing works the first time it's attempted.  Just because what you're doing does not seem to be working, doesn't mean it won't work.  It just means that it might not work the way you're doing it.  If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and you wouldn't have an opportunity. 3. When you're ready to quit, you're closer than you think. There's an old Chinese saying that I just love, and I believe it is so true.  It goes like this: "The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed." 4. With regard to whatever worries you, not only accept the worst thing that could happen, but make it a point to quantify what the worst …

What Color Are You?

What color are you? To be honest I am not sure the origin of the below passage, thought it would be fun to share and would love to hear what color you all are. What color of person are you? Dor you fit into one color or are you a combination?
Reds: The Power Wielders
Reds are the power wielders of the world. Power is not good and it is not bad, it just is. It has to do with movement, (remember: moving from A to B). Power sometimes carries a negative connotation but where positive characteristics of Reds are concerned, it drives them to high levels of productivity and efficiency. Reds boldly move forward with logic, vision and determination. These qualities make them natural born leaders, as they make things happen by sheer force of will. From a Red perspective, emotion has little to do with accomplishing a task.
Red Strengths Reds are visionary and seem to have insight into the future. Keeping their eyes on the future averts them from the mundane day-to-day. In dealing with…
