Keto Crisp Sandwich (Grilled Sandwich)
This Keto Crisp Sandwich recipe by OhMyKeto is absolutely delicious!! I used a slice of Smoked Turkey Breast and a slice of Off The Bone Ham in my sandwich. She made hers with pickles and mustard and extra cheese along with her meat of choice. This recipe is definitely a keeper! I think I'll dry a BLT with it next!

Serves 2 (1g carb per serving)
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Pork Rind Crumbs
- 1/2 c. Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 T. Mayo
- 1 Egg
Directions
- Whisk mayo & egg together. Add cheese & pork rinds. Let 'dough' rest a few minutes. Divide in half.
- Put 1/2 dough in a cold dry nonstick skillet (8in), no fat/oil needed. (can use a well seasoned cast iron skillet too.)
- Press down with wet hands or a spatula until a round layer is formed.
- Put pan over medium/high heat and cook 3-5 min or until crispy, then flip and crisp on the other side.
- Flip once more, add your fillings to one side of the circle and flip the opposite side on top of it.
- Flip a few times so additional cheese melts and insides get warm.
- Serve!
Tips:
- Use softened Butter instead of Mayo if you prefer
- If only frying 1 serving, leftover 'dough' can be stored in plastic wrap or air tight container in the fridge overnight.
- You can also make just the KetoCrisp by crisping both sides and then allowing to cool before filling with desired ingredients for a cold sandwich or use as a pizza crust!
